PLOW DAY/SOUTHERN HERITAGE YOUTH DAY
Come on out to the farm this Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 8am-3pm. We’ll start plowing with teams Bob & Prince and Toby & Dan around 10am. We’ll also have hay rides, feed/pet our barnyard friends, & pony rides.
The Sons of Confederate Veterans will have lots going on too, with displays of Weapons of War, Uniform Presentations, Flag Presentations, and the Order of the Confederate Rose.
Andrew Lewis will be shooting off anvils; come out & watch the fun!
Welcome to Lewis Farm. We are a 4th generation working family farm located in Ranlo, NC, a small town in Gaston County approximately 15 minutes from Charlotte, NC. We offer people a chance to reconnect with the past through showcasing sustainable farming practices of the 1930′s & 1940′s.
We raise grass-fed cattle, pastured pork, wonderful brown eggs from Golden Comet chickens, hay, corn, soybean, wheat, pumpkins, & produce. Our products are sold straight from the farm year-round, just give us a call to place your order and arrange for pick-up.
We offer private birthday parties, weddings, family reunions, corporate events, and private carriage rides.
