Welcome to Lewis Farm!

Welcome! We’re glad you stopped by. We’re a 4th generation working farm 15 minutes from Charlotte, NC, located in Gaston County. We raise grass-fed beef, pastured pork, produce, and eggs from happy chickens.

We love to introduce visitors to sustainable farming practices from the 1930s and 1940s. We invite you to visit during our open hours in the Fall, or to schedule your birthday party or special event on our historic farm. You can also pick up orders from the farm by appointment, and see for yourself where your food comes from.

And if you’re planning your wedding, what could be more romantic than to tie the knot in country chic style outside a 150-year-old barn with a horse-drawn carriage waiting to take you away?

Harvest Festival and Haunted Hayride Were a Blast!

13175947258171.jpgThank you to everyone who came out for our Harvest Festival and Halloween Fun this year. We loved teaching hundreds of students about traditional farming skills, introducing children to barnyard animals, and hosting hundreds of families with hay rides, corn mazes, and pumpkin picking.

This great video gives a taste of what it’s like to visit our farm days in the Fall.

We can’t wait to do it again next year!

Although the farm is bedded down for the winter, the farmer’s work is never done. We’re still tending chickens, caring for horses, and feeding cows every day. And just because it’s winter doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate here! Our big new pole barn means even outdoor parties can be weather-proof.

Whatever your big event, whether a birthday celebration, a corporate event, or your wedding day, we’d love to help you make it special.

Eli celebrates his 7th birthday with pony rides!

The weather is warming up, time to start thinking about outdoor birthday parties. We were blessed with spring-like weather for Eli’s 7th birthday Saturday. Fun was had by all!
